1851 Census - household at Factory Yard, Farnham Surrey: John COOKE b.1779, sister Charlotte COOKE b.1793 (and niece Elizabeth Budd), all recorded as 'Retired Basket Maker'.
I am hoping to establish whether John and Charlotte were the brother and sister of my 3 x g. grandmother Maria COOKE b.1796, d.1840. All have Farnham recorded as their place of birth.
Maria Cooke married my 3 x g. grandfather Daniel KING at Puttenham in 1817, and one of the witnesses at the wedding was a Charlotte King. In 1851 Daniel is also living at Factory Yard.
Any help with this very much appreciated :)

Who were your 3x great grandmother's parents?

Thank you both very much for your help :). I can see Maria's parents are most likely to be David & Ruth. Still feel there may be a connection between these Cook/e families and wonder if Charles and David perhaps were siblings.
I am also curious as to why Maria's wedding would take place out at Puttenham, bridegroom Daniel KING b.1797 is a major brick wall in my tree - his birth place recorded as Farnham on census returns, but the only likely baptism is over 40 miles away at Croydon.
Many thanks again.

Maria may have been working in Puttenham and that explains place of Marriage.
Burials;
DAVID Cook 09 Jul 1834 age 76 (1758)
RUTH Cook 06 Aug 1840 age 80 (1760)
All above on FreeREG
1841 Census
Daniel King 45
Mary King 20
Elizabeth King 15
Ellen King 12
Jane King 10
Henry King 8
William King 2
There are 11 children to David/Maria on FreeREG including a Ruth Bapt 05 Apr 1835
She is not on the 1841 Census above as she was buried 06 Dec 1836 age 1 year 9 mths.
So I think that Marias Parents as David/Ruth is likely
Sorry cant pin down Daniel Kings Bapt c 1797

Yes, that does seem most likely doesn't it - many thanks again, and thanks also for looking at Daniel, much appreciated :)
