Title: Sarah Taylor
Post by: Kim2000 on Tuesday 11 February 20 22:08 GMT (UK)
Hi, I've come to a stop in my family tree because I can't find the paternal or maternal grandparents of Mark Henry West.

His parents' names are William George West and Sarah West (was Taylor).

Sarah was born roughly in 1813 (though not sure where).

William was born roughly in 1804 and died in 1859, possibly in Yorkshire. Ancestry says he was born in Painswick, Gloucestershire.

Can you help me find the names of their parents, please?

I'm puzzled why you think William died 1859 possibly in Yorkshire?

Living in Middlesex in 1851 and no death in Yorkshire in 1859 on freebmd?

There are deaths on freebmd in the Middlesex area

A lot of the London 1861 is missing and the only Mark West b in that timescale was living with parents  George & Martha in Yorkshire

Still puzzled why this has been posted on the Yorkshire board
