Title: Family Tree Maker 2006
Post by: BoBo on Wednesday 22 January 20 17:22 GMT (UK)
Hi
I need some advice.  I am still using Family Tree Maker 2006 on my laptop.  Maybe it's because I've used it for so long, but I really like the software.  Anyway my laptop is rather old and is also still on Windows 7.  My husband feels that it is time for me to upgrade my laptop and therefore go on to Windows 10.  I do not think I can use FTM2006 on Windows 10 and quite honestly I also don't think I can find the original discs which have been mentioned in other topics on this forum. My problem is that I have thousands of names and information stored on this FTM version.  If I buy the new 2019 version would I be able to transfer all my data from the 2006 on to 2019?
Any replies?

FTM was taken over by Mackiev several years ago. Contact them to find out whether your old files will transfer easily.  https://www.mackiev.com/ (https://www.mackiev.com/)
