Hello,

I'm trying to locate a burial/cremated location for Edward Norrington Barling died Oct 1930 Preston Hall, Aylesford. His last known residence as stated in his will was 1 Council-houses Littlebourne. His wife Hilda Ellen Barling born Davis died abt. May 1978 Sittingbourne.

Hello,

Not sure if you found what your looking for yet but if he lived in littleborune best place to contact would be barham crematorium as thats the most popluar one around here.
If they are no good Canterbury city council have a genealogy deparment (they are lovely) they will be able to tell you if he was buried local.
If not madistone city council

He doesn’t look to be in one of the Canterbury City Council cemeteries https://www.canterbury.gov.uk/info/20029/deaths/222/search_our_burial_records

Thank you for the replies.

I've tried Barham Crematorium, Vinters Park Crematorium and Maidstone Cemetery. On the Canterbury City Council website they have listed burials which have been so useful as many other family members are there, but I haven't found Edward and Hilda Barling yet. I will email them to double check.
