Hi there - I am looking for assistance please in locating the baptism of Margaret G. Dunn, daughter of William Dunn and Jane Graham. Margaret was born in Carlisle in 1883 and the family lived at 23 Brook Street, Botchergate, Carlisle. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated! Many thanks.

The closest CE churches to Brook Street are St John the Evangelist and then Holy Trinity Church. The Catholic Church is Our Lady and St Joseph. I've had a quick look on family search, but there couldn't see anything.
Amend: not Holy Trinity should have said Christ Church!!

Her elder brother, Matthew, born 1881 may provide a clue if you can find where he was baptised. The family moved to Gateshead, I believe, and subsequent children were baptised in Ven Bede.

Hi
I used to live not far from Brook Street near Our Lady and St Joseph. In fact my original piano came from very close to your family’s house.
Before I moved ai researched many families from those few streets including a friends.
A couple ofthungs. Many families with the name Dunn I’ve come across were descended from Irish and many were RC.
Has anyone looked at the RC register for you? If not, if you’ve got good dates Carlislle library might do a lookup for you.
Also you say a child was later baptised in Ven Beds. Do you know that denomination? Is it Venerable Bede? It sounds like an RC parish name.
Just a few thoughts. Good luck with the hunt
