Any ideas on Frances place of birth/parents/siblings thank you in advance
-
Just to add some more information: (according to FreeReg)
Frances YEATS married Lewis DAVIS 11 August 1767 at St Bartholomew Wednesbury, both otp. Witnesses: Michael OFFLEY and George WATKINS (bride signed "x")
Modified to add:
Michael OFFLEY and George WATKINS are witnesses to a number of marriages at Wednesbury around this time, though George at many more, assuming he was curate or similar.

Thanks Maddys noticed you mentioned YEATS, Shame no clues on age or parentage.

No baptism for Frances in Wednesbury and the first Yates baptism there on Freereg is 1749;
The only one I can see on family Search in the County below, there are also 3 in Nottinghamshire.
Frances Yates
Baptism 20 May 1750
Newborough, Staffordshire
Father: Francis Yates
Mother: Ann
I note their children baptised in Wednesbury: St Bartholomew
Elizabeth DAVIES Baptism 1767
Owen DAVIES Baptism 1769
Lilly DAVIES Baptism 09 Sep 1771
John DAVIES Baptism 04 Jul 1773
Thomas DAVIES Baptism 30 Mar 1779
Jessy DAVIS Baptism 05 Jun 1781
Elizabeth DAVIS Baptism 22 May 1785
Plus a likely death of Lewis
Lewis DAVIS Burial 07 Jan 1819 Age 77 Born about 1742
The only burial for Frances seems unlikely?
Frances DAVIS Burial 10 Mar 1815 Staffordshire Wolverhampton: St Peter. Age 78 Born about 1737

Hello
The marriages don't actually give their marital status.
You might want to consider that Frances was a widow.
Richard Yates married Wednesbury by banns 9.9.1758 Frances Price
wit George Watkins and William Cooper
Richard Yates buried 29.10.1762
In those four years they were quite busy,
John bapt 25.11.1759
Jonas 23.6.1761-27.2.1763
Richard 13.6.1763
Robert bapt 19.6.1763 as Yeats a private baptism and burial as Yates 20.12.1764
There are various Prices in the parish -Timothy and Mary baptising children in the 1750's and John Price collier died intestate 6.4.1762 -14 days .Admin granted to widow Elizabeth.
Just a thought

Thank you for the replies ; I like the idea of being a widow as both were “of the parish”..will do some digging
