If this is correct, wife predeceased Henry i.e. is he likely buried in same plot?

Hi Rosinish, Thank you for the reply yes that is his wife .I am planning a trip up from Cheshire in May so I will call in on my way through to Dingwall :) . Just one more thing you may be able to help with is the information you have given me does that tell me where in the cemetary I will find the grave ? if so maybe you could tell me how to decipher it ,I apologise if I sound like a complete muppet but I have never used this sort of thing before I have always used the walk around a kirkyard for hrs dragging my wife along then having to buy her a new handbag or other such things just to keep her smiling ;-)

Hi,
The info. I gave you is from the index on scotlandspeople site.
You would be best to obtain copies of both deaths which will give you exact dates & addresses to help with any searches...
Who registered the deaths as it looks as though Henry moved i.e. was there an address for any of the informants?
If you use the link from Forfarian Reply #1
It may be worth a phone call to enquire but if you have all death details for both this will cut down on cost.

From the index of VRs (Valuation Rolls) the address in 1935 was Rashiefold, Arngask as a Tenant?
In 1940 there's a Charles & Frederick both at different addresses in Arngask maybe related & he living with either as I don't see him listed as a Tenant anywhere else?
I wonder if this is where Henry was although later?

Hi Annie thanks for your input Charles and Frederick were two of his sons He was living in The railway cottages Tarhill in 1956 when he died ,I am having a little difficulty finding these altho I think they may be off the A911 a short distance past Burleigh castle just on the left where the old railway line crossed the A911 as there is a place on an old map a short distance from there called Tarhill and the old map shows a building in the spot I mentioned .Thanks again for your input
Cheers Sandy
