Title: Ceylon 1799 to 1818

My ancestor was in the British Army. He was stationed in Ceylon from 1799 to 1818 when he returned to UK.
He had children, and may have married in Ceylon. I have names of wife and children.

I have failed to find birth or marriage entries in Chaplains register etc.

Is there any church source or other records available in Ceylon for the period 1799 to 1818?

https://search.findmypast.co.uk/search-world-Records/british-in-ceylon-parish-records would appear to cover part of the period (from 1815).
