Title: Trealaw research
Post by: JGSnoopy on Friday 06 December 19 15:08 GMT (UK)
Hi,

I am planning a trip to Trealaw in the new year, as this is where my Grandfather lived.  I never met him so want to see what info is availablem, but don't really know where to start!

I suspect, though not sure, that he was buried in Trealaw cemetery - How would I find this out?
On the 1911 census he was a miner, are there any records around associated with his job?

Thanks in advance for any advice

I believe the library in Treorchy hold the burial records so you could try them.

Google Trealaw cemetery, there was a phone number there. Give them a ring.  When I did that the lady I spoke to was very, very helpful.
