Thomas Crosbie and Ann Power were married in 1836 with Thomas White and Mary Power as witnesses. I'm puzzled with the word between the names. Any ideas?
-
The record is in Latin and the word is ‘et’ meaning ‘and’.
-
Thanks but I was looking for the word that looks like Supis.
-
Oh sorry. I misunderstood. ::)
-
It is in the column for Parish.

Whatever it is, the same word is used on several others on the same page.

Difficult writing to interpret

I think it might be hujus (usually written huius in classical Latin), meaning 'of this [parish]'.
-
Thank you that fits perfect.
