Hi All
A few years ago I subscribed to the Toronto Star Archive site, I think for 24 hours or could have been a week or so.
Iv'e been trying to find the site again "googling" etc but I cant seem to get the right link - I keep getting directed to today's Toronto Star News site or when I choose http://pqasb.pqarchiver.com/thestar/search.html my Virgin media browser just redirects me and states "not found"
Can someone please post a link to the subscription page for the archives please.
Thanks in advance
Jan Ann

Hi Gadget
No - that's not the link, you have to have a Toronto Library card to access it
Maybe its not available to those outside Canada anymore ::)

Yes - sorry. I added an amendment to my post. That's just for residents.
The only one that I can find seems to just have links to 2000 onwards :-\

I've just found this:
The Archive is available to Toronto Public Library customers who qualify for a free library card.
Uncover the pages and stories you are looking for at https://www.torontopubliclibrary.ca/detail?R=EDB0111
If you live outside Toronto, please contact syndicate@torstar.com
There is no mention of previous subscription options :-\

Thanks for trying Gadget, I used to be able to get Proquest via my local UK library card and therefore access certain world newspapers but that service has been cancelled due to local authority cuts ::)
Nevermind, I'll look elswhere,
Cheers
