Title: George Elvin born 4 Feb 1929 in Barnesmore Gap, Donegal

I have details of his marriage in the UK but his life in Barnesmore is  mystery.

I got his birth details from Ireland, Civil Registration Births Index which gives his mother's name as Ingram and the district it was registered was Stranolar.

Any idea where I can find his family or any more details about his parents please?

You can apply on-line for a photocopy of his entry using this form:

I have received contact from a different lady member called "Eileen" it looks like you have both sent a message to the wrong member as the originator of this topic is called "eileenblacklock" not "eileen"
