Looking for info on McDonnells and McGahans from Martinstown/Belsallagh/Knockanully area of Antrim. Have Michael McDonnell and Grace McGahan, both born possibly 1830s.
-
GRONI has these children, apparently to your couple:
Michael 8.6.1864 Knockanully
David 5.2.1867
Charles 17.6.1869 Ballsallagh
Richard 5.10.1871 Ballsallagh
Family were labourers/weavers, according to the birth certs. They tended to move about a bit to follow available work. Can be hard to trace.
The local RC parish records (Braid) don’t start till 1878 so if that’s where the couple married, there’s probably no record of it.

Thanks Elwyn!
