Can anyone help me finding a birth for Annie.
From her marriage to Alfred Siddons in 1911 she states her father as Albert Lewis, upholsterer (deceased at time of marriage.
States place of birth as Herefordshire in the 1911 & 1939 census, but lived in Dorset.
She seems to be nowhere before this.

Looking at her full birthdate on the 1939 register - have you ruled out the Dec qtr 1888 birth for Annie Ellen G Lewis
EDIT - ignore - her father was John a police constable

Is she the Annie Elizabeth Lewis who is a general domestic servant age 13 in 1901 Glos?
Birthplace given as Aston Ingham Herefordshire.

There's an Albert Lewis who is a drapers traveller in 1901 born Herefordshire bit tenuous and still alive after that - what date was the marriage for Annie?

There's an Albert James Lewis in Gloucestershire on 1881, b c1856 in Bristol. He's an upholsterer

Marriage date is 4 May 1911
I believe this was after the census period in that year because she’s still Annie Lewis, living with Alfred Siddons

I’ve just checked the marriage certificate again.
Her father isn’t mentioned as deceased! I have no idea why I’ve had that in my head.
