It looks like Thomas Kearns and Annie King had a daughter, Barbara Ruth. Married name Bidwell. May have been known as "Ruth." Born about 1926. If anyone can find anything about her, I would be most grateful. Does Quebec have an index of birth/deaths and marriages?
-
Hi,
A B/M/D index...no :P. Quebec has church records available through the Drouin collection on Ancestry. Quebec has strict privacy laws when it comes to B/M/D's as does Canada. Each province has their own set of records and rules and they vary for years available. There isn't a lot available after 1940 for Quebec.
Just being cautious for the living people rule, and I know that there is longevity in this family. Daughter B*R* is elusive and I'm not seeing a death for her. She was born in Montreal 24 Feb. 1926 and baptised the 8 April 1934, daughter of Thomas Albert Kearns, clerk and Annie King, godmother was Mary Josephine Kearns, aunt.
