When trying to access the database I get an error message. Has anyone an explanation?

The site opens correctly for me, but when I try to search for a baptism, marriage or burial, I still get the error message. Have you tried searching in the data base? I can't understand why it should be working for you but not for me. I can't see a way to contact the site - any suggestions?

I have just tried a search in all three categories, birth ,marriage and death and had no problem getting results.
How are you getting on to the site? Is it via something you have bookmarked perhaps? Possibly try accessing the site via a different route - tpye in the address or do a Google search and see if that makes any difference.

Thanks for the replies.
I find I can get the database using Internet Explorer, also Google instead of Google Chrome. I can now get baptisms, etc, for parishes, but when I click on an entry for details I get another error message. What on earth is going on?

It's not working properly for me either. I can get a list of a particular surname, but when I click an entry I get this message...
ERROR: You have not selected a record to view.
Use your browser to go back to the previous page, select the record you want by clicking an open circle, then click any "..." submit box.
I have clicked the little circle under "FULL" and the … submit box, but still get the error message.

Yes, I'm now getting that as well. Obviously a glitch on the site.

I think I've found the answer to the problem. CPRP is an unprotected site and Chrome had decided to stop showing parts, With some trouble I've managed to change "permissions" and this seems to have done the trick - touch wood.
