Hi wonder if anyone can help me I have Norris or Yockelson that I have found on the family research site as Fred or Alfred John born 1891 and in 1929 is in a record for England & Wales, Crime, Prisons & Punishment 1770-1935 in Hertford. I would like to know more about this - can anyone possibly help with this - Many thanks in advance.

If you can access find my past (possibly in your local library) and search for Yockelson in the section headed Institutions and Organisations you will find several entries for him.

The entry for 18th November 1929 has Frederick Norris, aliases Alfred Robea Yockelson, Alfred John Yockelson, Alfred Yockelson, and Alfred Yockelston.
