I've tried without success to find the death record of John Adams, farmer from Lisadian, who would have died between 1851 and 1854.
I also am unable to find his marriage record to Mary Ann Wallace (whose father was John Wallace, farmer) born about 1830 -31. Mary Ann's second marriage as a widow (Mary Ann Adams, father John Wallace from Lisadian) was to Thomas Sinclair in 1854 at Newry Register Office.
I would be very grateful for any help. :)

This Search on https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp should find it IF they were non RC but many don't have Images yet but when they do come online you can use this Link below.
Marriage results for John Adams from ? to 1854 Link = http://www.rootschat.com/links/01odf/ at any District.
You have to solve Captcha and use initials to sign in... Certs are free.
Deaths only start 1864.
Have you tried FamilySearch?

The 1854 groom was Thomas Sinclair. Here's the extract from Family Search-

Pergamond- have you tried newspapers & Will extracts yet?

Thanks Hallmark. I have searched geni.nidirect for the marriage and the death -no joy. Also Family Search.
The family was not RC.
Yes, Aghadowey, and I've had a good look at the Will Calendars for John. We have a will for Mary Ann's second husband Thomas Sinclair, and their marriage record.
I haven't tried newspapers - I doubt anything would be found but worth a look. It may be the only place I haven't looked!
Thanks to both of you for trying to help. :)

I did this Search on https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp using 2 tabs then checking Districts to look for matches for each at same District...

No Images online yet....

The Link posted in Reply#1 would/should have shown John's first Marriage but didn't have time to check them at time when I posted Link.
It should have shown Gortin one.

I didn't check all Districts against each other, maybe there are matching records at one of the districts for a Marriage to a Mary Adams??
-
I had a good search, thanks. Couldn't find a John Adams with a Mary Adams or a Mary Wallace.
-
No problem.
Without Year or Location it makes searching more difficult.
Even with comparing record to record in each district one may find more than one page that contains both names and until Images come online one doesn't know if they married each other or are just on same page marrying to someone else.
Good hunting!
