My name is Russell Cates Jnr. Son of Russell Cates Snr son of Charles Augustus Cates son of Charles Collier Cates son of Surg. John Cates.Charles Collier Cates
married Margaret Ryan in 1876 and married Sarah Woodward of Tarago. N.S.W
AUSTRALIA 1888.Two children Elizabeth  and Charles.He died in 1893.Sarah  married  again  and died in New Zealand where Charles was Naturalized. Charles married Ivy Gladys Irene Fulthorpe my father is their son and Ruby Assenheim
ist  their daughter.John died in 1848 and is buried in an Adelaide cemetery
