HI.Have done a lot of research on the surname Whitter/Witter/Witta.Still loads more to do.Interested in ancient history.It is reckoned that the name Witta/Whiiter originally came over with the Normans/flemings - has any one any more information or know of any families of this period with the name.

all born Goostrey
Hannah Witter married Thomas Spragg 14 may 1807 at Goostrey.
