i am looking for any information on a Johannes Witter an irish surgeon from the 17th century who sailed under Capt. Thomas Cromwell.He went to the West Indies married a Elizabeth Norwood in Bermuda.Had 9 children of which several settled in Jamaica and i am 99% certain i am descended from them as they settled in Hanover ,Jamaica where my parents came from.

There is a four page will of Richard Norwood, dated April 1, 1674, proved Nov. 3, 1675.

If these names match up with your branches please let me know. The will is in very fine print and I will have to take it somewhere and have it copied for you as I cannot possibly read and type it all out I will be blind.
