Hello, I found this scanned and printed picture of a pub from an unknown newspaper by the looks of it. It is pretty low quality, but was wondering if somebody could help me try to read the pub sign and or locate the pub. I found the picture in my local library in Greenhithe so there's a good chance it could be local to there, although I am pretty sure its not actually a Greenhithe pub. Maybe a neighbouring town.
I have a higher resolution version that I can email to people, but still very low quality.
Thankyou
Shaun

I am reasonably confident of THE ****ERS (TAV)ERN
The last of the four asterisked letters could be H or K, and the first might be B.
THE BUSKERS TAVERN perhaps?

Great find, bearkat. (And an honourable mention for the gallant runner-up Rattus) :) :) :)

This comparable May 2018 snip from Google Streetview I think mirrors it well. Well done folks!

I think all the Rootschat members should club together and buy it, renovate it and call it "The Rootschat Inn" ;D ;D
Somewhere to meet on a wet afternoon ;)
