I realise that this is not answering your question but I am posting a link to your earlier search trying to locate him so we don't duplicate on anything you may have already

"My Grandfather told my father that we were from the Haddon Hall Vernon line & related to Admiral Edward Vernon".

huh?
"Dorothy Vernon of Haddon Hall is a 1902 historical novel written by Charles Major"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dorothy_Vernon_of_Haddon_Hall

Is there a family tree for real Vernon's that lived at a Haddon Hall?

Amended, I see there was a real line of Vernons that once lived there

Hello,

I thought you might be interested to know that I came across a record of this which was from another family tree. The information is as follows:

Harry James VERNON - Buried 10th January 1931 at St. Mary's Church, Salehurst, Sussex

I hope this is of some help to you  :)

Hi there, that was probably from mine! I have just discovered this information and added it to my tree.I went to the grave yard but alas could not find his gravestone. But thank you! Really hoped I would find a stone with his birth date & then I could progress.
