Hi there again I have just received these two photos in the post by a cousin they both say Emily dursley on the back. My 2x great nan Frances had a older sister called Emily born 1857 could it be of her ?

James Burgess was in Egham in 1891 age 44 and 1901 age 54 - Photographer

1st. mid-late 1880's.
2nd. looks a bit later & I would suggest Edwardian.

Thankyou for that . She had a younger sister Clara who lived in Egham from 1886/7 so she must of been visiting as she had always lived in bristol.
Looks as though she is holding a photo in the older photo too

Hi Brad...As the board is quiet, I had a go at this beautiful photo using the colours picked up by the scanner.
