Interesting - there are two births for an Elizabeth, one also with mother maiden name Francis. I wonder if the baby and mother died and he remarried, giving the next baby the same name? (see next post)
YOUNG, ELIZABETH mmn FRANCIS

I think the second Elizabeth is from the marriage of Thomas Young and Elizabeth Fisher who married in 1844. They also had a some James in 1846.
How do you know that your John married twice?

1851,61,71,and 81 with wife Harriett

Hi
John Young married Harriet Francis Sept 21st 1839, they were bachelor & spinster. Father's Daniel Young & Richard Francis. Son Henry was baptised Nov 17th 1840 to parents John & Harriet. Perhaps a mistake in her name on the 1841 census. :-\

Hi,
In case you don't have them, there are 3 burials which may be relevant in
Letcombe Regis;
4-10-1880 Henry Young (aged 38)
5-4-1883 Harriet " ( " 59)
5-9-1896 John " ( " 81)
I looked but didn't find any marriages for Henry in LR.
