Hello,
Bit of a long shot but thought I would ask to see if any light can be shed for a friend of mine.
Her Father is called George Williams born Wrexham around 1934 ( birth was registered then) Mother was Dorothy(Dorathy) Leah . I think his father is possibly not named. However she would like any info on Dorothy . She has no members of family left as they all died young . Dorothy later married but he was step grandfather allegedly .
Sorry, I know not a lot to go on at the moment so any help would make a difference
Thanks

Free BMD has two other Williams births in 1936 and 1940 - both female with same mmn.
I have one named them. Are these the ones you say are now deceased?

Doris' birth was registered in Atcham. There's also a Dorothy M Leah born 1914 in the same area. They do have different mmns though.

Ok I’ve done a bit of a search. They lived at 51 Ruthin road , offa terrace
Could Doris be Dorothy?
There is a Doris m Jones (Williams) born 1899 living here with George Williams.

Sorry what is Mmn?

Mother’s maiden name - mmn
The marriage is Doris and the census info looks good for Doris Mabel.
There was a sister to George called Dorothy -perhaps there is a bit of confusion with the names.
When you mention a remarriage, do you mean for George's mother?
I think I saw a Doris M Williams marrying a Mr Jones - could that be the one?
