Hi
I am wanting to find information regarding Paul Gerrard Reed from Montreal Canada
Any help would be appreciated
He would have been born around 1920's
Thank you

There is a public tree on ancestry for a Paul Gerard Reed born Montreal 19 Feb1922 died Montreal 20 May 1994. No further information apart from parents
Another tree has him marrying in Yorkshire in 1949.
-
From Quebec, Canada, Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1968
Marie Joseph Paul Gerard Reed
Baptism Date: 19th February 1922
Baptism Place: Montréal, Québec (Quebec)
Place of Worship or Institution: St-Pierre-Apôtre
Think Father is Alphonse Reed, and Mother Geraldine. There is also a Paul Emile Reed mentioned, godfather.

I looked at the original image of this baptism this morning and I think it is baptisms of three different children as there are commas after Marie and Joseph.

There is also a comma after Paul, so that would be quads as they were all born 'aujourd'hui'.
I took it to mean that the commas just separated each Christian name, and others on the page also were separated similarly.
But now realise Geraldine Reed is the godmother, and it is Graziella Brosseau who is the Mother. Also he is the legitimate son of Alphonse and Graziella.

Got to go to work, but here:
From Ancestry, Quebec, Canada, Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1968
Alphonse Reed
Married 1907 in Montréal, Québec (Quebec)
Place of Worship or Institution: St-Pierre-Apôtre
Spouse: Graziella Brosseau

If the marriage information is correct then there is this marriage in Yorkshire
Marriages Sep 1945
Arkless Mary D Reed Northallerton 9d 1760
Reed Paul G Arkless Northallerton 9d 1760
There appears to be just one child from the marriage.

It is a baptism record not a birth record so the children can be of varying ages.

Yes, it is a baptism record on the 19th February, and where it says 'ne' (i.e. 'born') it puts 'aujourd'hui' (i.e, 'today'). The previous record in the book, baptised 19th, has 'hier' (i.e. yesterday) for birth date, and the next one has baptised 19th born 17th.

Are you looking for his parents or his children?
Ancestry has Alphonse Reid 34 and Graz Brosseau 30 with child on 1911 Canada census records. Do you have access to Ancestry Canada?

You can see the original image for the 1911 census on Find My Past.
