Title: Date this picture of Francestco Saltzillo
Post by: JimGat on Tuesday 30 July 19 15:35 BST (UK)
Hi

I have attached a picture of family members in Italy. I am wondering if someone can possibly date this picture. The man (who I think it is was born 1854 and died 1934) and his first marriage was 1889.

Any help would be appreciated

Jim

Late 1890s, I'd say  :)

Do you have the birth dates of any children? Also, second marriage date?   I zoomed in to see if I could see more detail. She looks a wee bit coy and could be pregnant - a little bulge.

I've cropped out the white so that others can see it more easily.

I thought she looked pregnant too Gadget, there's certainly a bulge and she's holding her arm across her middle as many pregnant ladies do  :)

Thank you all

Doing more research I found out that he was married twice 1st wife married abt 1870   died in 1886 and he remarried Feb 6, 1889. I haven't found any children for 2nd marriage yet but will look now. Only children for 1st marriage was 1875, 76 & 80.
