Hello,
You probably have all these details but the more information we searchers can gather, the better chance of we have of finding what you are looking for.......... :)
COOPER, Henry
Date of Death 1914-11-09
Age 78 years
Cemetery Orepuki
Location of Grave 48 Old Section
COOPER, Ann
Maiden Name HARPER
Occupation Married Woman
Address Orepuki
Date of Death 1900-12-24

I was hoping the will of Henry Cooper may have provided the names of his daughters, but no, just that of a son.

I can see them in the 1871 UK census but not the 1881

Hi Janette, many thanks for your reply. The Cooper family arrived in NZ in 1876, leaving from Glasgow on the 1st July.
Father was Henry Cooper , Mother was Ann (Harper)
Daughter Elizabeth Cooper.
Daughter Mary Ann Cooper
Son George Cooper.
I cannot find out where they went when they arrived in NZ, but I can only find that George and his Father and Mother went to Orepuki in 1886 or earlier to be miners.
No sign of the two sisters, but I have found out that Robert Cooper (Father of Henry) left for New Zealand with his youngest son Edward, on the ship Lady Jocelyn. No idea of the date but they they travelled to Australia. Also miners. I hope this is a start for you, I have looked at the census here in NZ but no sign of the two girls . Kind regards, Dulcie.

Waikiwi are you using 2 different RootsChat accounts? Waikiwi and the one you started this thread with Paco
It is going to add to confusion and it is best to stick to the same one

NZ doesn't have a census only electoral rolls and that means only men (until 1896) eligible to vote will be on the ER's, women got the vote in 1896.

Hi,
Just to clarify that the COOPER family arrived at Port Chalmers on 1 July 1876 per City of Dunedin from Glasgow.
See here for passenger list.

I cannot find an obituary for Henry COOPER which might have mentioned living issue.
Purchasing his death certificate might mention the ages of living issue, but this is a long shot.
I would suggest contacting local branches of the New Zealand Society of Genealogists, or local museums or family history societies close to Orepuki.
