The title says it all really. I've been booted out of Ancestry and now it won't let me back in.
Does anyone know what's going on?
-
SNAP!
I am in Norfolk (if it matters).

Chas

I suspect that it's worldwide. Someone's probably pulled the plug out...

Someone needs to tell them to clear their cache! Isn't that what they always tell us to do? 8)

You'd think that with all the money we pay them, they could afford a shilling for the meter ...

Whenever anyone tells me to do that I wait 10 seconds and then tell them I've done it and it made no difference. It's never the answer anyway.

No point in phoning them as their lines will be down too with the volume of calls :'( :'(
Oh well just have to wait and see if it goes back up soon.

Funnily enough I'm called Steve too and I couldn't agree more.

I couldn't sign in to Ancestry either on my computer.
I then tried the Ancestry app on my mini iPad, which was ok for about ten minutes for looking at my tree, but when I tried to add some information I just got the spinning wheel, which wouldn't go even when I cleared Safari's history and website data, so now I can't use the Ancestry app on my mini iPad at all.

Ancestry.com is connecting, Ancestry.co.uk is not.

Note: The Ancestry website is currently undergoing scheduled maintenance. Some portions of the site may be temporarily unavailable. Thank you for your patience.
Scheduled? They couldn't warn us earlier?

At least you didn't suggest having a "meaningful" conversation with my work colleagues! I don't think they'd empathise with how traumatic it is not to be able to use Ancestry ;) ;D

I am currently in a login loop
Added: no sooner do I post that then it recognises me!
-
No problems with access but had problems loading documents for days now. So frustrating
-
No problems but it has been quite slow at times for the past week. I've been doing a variety of searches and going through DNA shared matches.
