Thanks Bee and Tricia,

i have asked a relative about the family and mary ann's family was in NZ.
as he was a ship captain, he may have been away at sea.

walter gilbert crackles ASHBRIDGE b. 1876 and his wife MAry Ann Hart b. New Zealand 1877 might not be in the same house

would some kind person be able to look up for any mary ann ASHBRIDGE (nee HART) living with kids called Walter and George?

this is really hard, my grandmothers cousin is over from NZ and she is blind, so it is hard work getting her to help me. (she can't tell me who people in photos are)

any help appreciated,

Sorry I can't find them either. I do believe the son Walter born 1896 died 1897. No George Ashbridge in 1901 Census around the correct age.

i really don't understand where this family could have been??? maybe in NZ still??? i'm sure they were i england though and in Yorkshire...

grumble grumble..


i guess i'll just have yo keep hoping that they turn up at some stage.
