Can anyone please advise if or where I might find a burial or grave inscription (if existing) for Hannah Chambers who died at the Poor Law Infirmary at Church Road in 1923. I am hoping to find her date of birth if known.
-
Was Chambers her birth name or married name?
She was 41 when she died so makes her born c1882.
-
Chambers was her married name though no record of a marriage has ever been found. She had two children born to her and her spouse, William Chambers, and her maiden name is given in the GRO index as Tehan and Teahan, but both children were born with the surname Chambers and her name in her death record is also given as Chambers. m

Have you found Hannah in any of the census records?
I can see one child, born 1917 - Chambers, mmn = Tehan
-
Another child in June qtr 1921, Birkenhead. FreeBMD has mmn as Teshen (but original probably says Teahen)
Hannah was buried at Bebington Cemetery, 22 Dec 1923. In the Roman Catholic section.
Age 41
Abode 18 Bedford Place

Perhaps Hannah was Irish?

That was very helpful, thank you. Now that I know the cemetery I will try and find out if there is a headstone with inscription which might give more information. Many thanks

Phyllis Chambers (Chamteers) is in Bedford Street in 1939 but I can't see any other members of the family.
