I think Famiiy Search has missed off the first part of the family as it is on the previous page and this is the full family in 1851 - Catherine is listed as unmarried and daughter of Robert and Cath

Robert Teare    57  Cooper  b Ballaugh, Isle Of Man
Cath Teare    49 b Jurby, Isle of Man
John Teare    26
Robert Teare    24
Thomas Teare    22
James Teare    18
Catherine Teare    28
Betsy Teare    13
Edward Teare    9
Phillip Teare    7

Added - Phillip's bapt? https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XZ15-G9Z

Kay - you are a STAR - I THINK   ..lol
i will now go back and research Robert and Catherine - and see if she is a FARRAGHER - fingers crossed
PHILLIP is the direct family member I have gone back to - so Robert and Catherine are definitely one generation back
............added- Catherine was Catherine  Christian - Roberts baptism was 1st sept 1793 parents John Teare and Ann Gawn - John was born 1769 and was buried 28th April 1846
.................
very happy with all that
can't find baptism of John Teare ..... Ann Gawn - baptism 1752 or 1778 - 1778 would make her 15 at Roberts baptism - so a bit iffy for me - thank you all for your help

Baptisms on the Isle of Man almost always name the mother's maiden name - it's the Manx way!
So finding a child's baptism is the best way to find MMN.
But always remember the marriage may not be the woman's first marriage ::)

But a tip when using FamilySearch:

Setting the Location as England will get you the censuses.
Setting the Location as Isle of Man will get you Parish Records!
