Anybody got any ideas what the above heading means?
I came across it on a death cert for a 45 year old female.
Also on cert was "Balrothery RD". Any ideas on this also appreciated

Also on cert was "Balrothery RD".
Balrothery Registration District, just north of Dublin.

SD Union = South Dublin Union.
Dublin CB. = Dublin City. Not sure about the B borough or similar
-
I'm not sure what C.B. refers to but I don't think it is city as it is also written after Drogheda in record #174 on the same page but...
However these reports from the early 1900s shows Dublin CB as City Borough LINK (http://www.tara.tcd.ie/bitstream/handle/2262/4619/jssisiVolXXPart5_129151.pdf?sequence=1&isAllowed=y) see page 143

Maybe it's County not City
-
Drogheda County Borough mentioned here:

I need more sleep!
FYI
Dublin City Borough included Dun Laoghaire

Thanks to everyone who helped with this and who tried to solve this issue and as always #rootschatusersarethebest
