Hi, I am trying to find details of Children of Samuel Crawford and Mary Jane Crawford (Nee) Gibson.
Children's births are as follows.
Catherine 1870
Mary 1872
Eliza Jane 1874
Martha 1879
amongst others, they were all born in Dromore Middle, Clogher, Co Tyrone, Northern Ireland.
Catherine appears as a 23-year-old on 1901 census again as a 40-year-old on the 1911 census.
This is where the trail has gone cold.
Can anyone help as to where these 4 girls have gone?
Passenger lists are a possibility
Any help much appreciated.

Found Catherine. She left a will to her brother in law. Death 1951 She's a spinster.

Presumably you found this on the National Probate Calendar?
In which case her brother-in-law will be the executor, or had obtained Administration.
Only the copy of the will tells you who she left assets to.

Hi Hallmark. Sadly this site is the one I've been using and found nothing. :'(
-
Could you post those 2 censuses and also have a look at the 2 originals, as the ages differ a lot, and the signature for head of household is not the same?
-
Is this the two you mean?

I see what you mean by the signatures. It could be the father and son's writing. That could also be the reason why the ages are all out. Just a thought.

Ok, we seem to be getting our wires crossed. The original post I made was regarding the 4 daughters to these parents. Children! Catherine, Mary, Eliza, and Martha. Then I found the Will" regarding the daughter Catherine. Which stated she was a spinster and gave her death.
All the other children John, James, Emily, and Andrew. I have marriages and deaths.
However, I am still struggling with the other 3 original daughters I enquired about.
Samuel also married in 1912 to Mary Owens. Note her middle name is recorded at the time of marriage. (No children).

Sorry, Son Andrew married Mary Jane Owens, not Samuel.
