Title: Public Consultation on the Potential Introduction of Open or Semi-Open Adoption
Post by: lc1718 on Wednesday 29 May 19 18:00 BST (UK)
I have just seen this notice on the website of the Department of Children & Youth Affairs.

This is the link for the survey

https://dcya.fs.ie/

The survey is open for replies until Friday 7th June.

ireland has a closed adoption system and adoptees have no right to birth information. In many other jurisdictions adoptees have this right when they reach 18 years of age. It would be good if as many people as possible could complete the survey and send a message to the Irish government that this needs to change.

Multiple choice answers are a bit challenging - and then the form got refused anyway. Will try again later.
