Hello,
Family Search have the registers - you have to be logged in to view them.

Hello Yorklass
I had tried family search to no avail, I have now plodded the whole way through 20 years off marriages even though I knew this one took place in 1876, so I had assumed it to be a register office marriage, I may well be right as I couldn't find it in St Margaret's
Huge thank you, a great help

Hi again
Is the marriage listed in the GRO index?
Just wondered how you were sure the marriage took place

Yes, it is listed, I am almost sure if it had been a church marriage it would have been at St Margaret's Kings Lynn, it isn't listed so I now assume it must have been a register office marriage, in my opinion at the moment his wife was originally his housekeeper, living in a small place I reckon it was more convenient to marry in a register office and they kept it quiet, just my opinion, time will tell
He married again in 1912, again to a housekeeper

Hello Louisa,
I think the St Margaret's registration district did include other parishes.
Are you happy to give their names?
