Title: WW1 Machine gun corp

Hi,
Can any one help me with any information on the following 3 FURMSTON's in the machine gun corp.
FURMSTON, Richard W, Private, 91056
FURMSTON, John, Corporal 2nd, 52991
FURMSTON, George H, Private, 125331
I Know George is listed as DIED 19 July 1918. I also believe he was a POW when he died. But think the other 2 survived the war.
Any info would be appreciated.

Hi there,George is buried in Tincourt,France.Tincourt was caught in the battle of the Somme.And has a very large cemetery for service men that fell during the conflict.
   Which makes me think that George is more likely to have died during conflict and not as a  prisoner.

George is also listed as Furmstone

born in Gorton Manchester

Hi,
Thanks Harribobs & wizz123, it is the correct George, the name is often spelt with an E at the end.
Since posting i have found that George was a POW at Gustrow POW camp in the old east Germany before being buried at Tincourt.
I think the other 2 are his brothers, all from the Gorton area but can not find much more out about them.
