Title: Northumberland Fusiliers WW1
Post by: Brosnooks on Tuesday 07 May 19 13:30 BST (UK)
Can anyone help me identify any of the soldiers in this photo?

My great-grandfather was in the Northumberland Fusiliers so I’m assuming this is the correct regiment. My great-grandfather survived WW1.

However, the photo frame has been edged in black so one of this group must have been killed in action.

FYI My great-grandfather was William Hunter. Born 1870, North Newsham lived in Blyth.

No photo! First one I’ve ever posted and I couldn’t work out how to attach. Ended up posting by mistake! Have sent an SOS to Roots Chat

You can't post attachments to Lookup Requests, post to another board.

Hello Brosnooks,

I have just moved your topic from the look up section to Northumberland board, you can not attach images in the look up sections. ;) If a post is put in the wrong section we can simply move if for you.

Regards

Sarah
