Title: William Pattison 1841

Hi Would someone be able to do a lookup please.Searching for a William Pattison (could be Patterson?)He was born in Northumberland and would be 40yr old.In later census he was farmer at Longbenton village then at Benton Park.He had moved there from the Rothbury/Mitford area but when i don't know.

So are we looking for  a William in the 1841 Census and or one born c 1841?

If born 1841 when/where/who did he marry?

So born c 1800 Mitford?, 1881 living in Longbenton, Widr, Retired Farmer.?
Uncle to the Brown Family?

I have the 1851 Census onwards but unable to conclusively find them in 1841 in either Northumberland or Durham.

Did they have children?
Do you know Elizabeths maiden name?

I think I have Williams Bapt in Mitford 1799.

hi Trish,its the 41 census i need,i have the later ones,i also know his baptism at Mitford but not his wifes maiden name.Maybe he was not yet in the Longbenton area.Thanks

No luck so far finding them in 1841.
Was Henry Pattison 1818 Elsdon, Williams Son?

1841 he is in Washington, Durham;
Henry Pattison   24 Ag Lab
Sarah Pattison   28
Thomas Pattison 2
Garvin Pattison   8 mths**
**Only last child born in Durham

Maybe William/Elizabeth are in Durham also.


 Have you figured out how Phoebe Brown nee Murton is the Neice of William or Elizabeth?

I presume you know her Parents were James Murton and Jane nee Brown

hi Trish,i have never found them anywhere in the 41,i think it might be mistranscribed as some other name or unreadable.I don't know if Henry is a son or not.I'm only researching William as part of the family of John Pattison his father.Phoebe married a Registrar of Births and Deaths and i thought she may be Williams niece as he had a sister called Jane but as you say she may be niece of his wife.Thank you for looking.
