Hi harvo,
The Sandersons on my tree were in the Wath-upon-Dearne and Thorpe Hesley area right back to 1799, prior to that William Sanderson born in 1772 was born in Crofton, he was the son of Abraham and Hannah (ne Turner) Abraham was born 1740 Thornhill By Dewsbury.
Best Wishes, Emmi

2 years later Sorry about that.
My Grandmother (Mother's mother) is a Sanderson by birth. I tracked her family back to a Sanderson in 1762 I think. Her Father was William Ernest Sanderson who served in WW2. Her Grandfather was an Albert Sanderson and so on.
