I am looking for the lists of captives taken during the following three raids.
1. June 27–28, 1689: Dover, New Hampshire (Cochecho Massacre).
2. Jan 24, 1692: Raid on York, Massachusetts (Candlemas Massacre).
3. August 2–3, 1689: Fort Charles, Pemaquid, then the easternmost outpost of colonial Massachusetts (present-day Bristol, Maine). (The Siege of Pemaquid).
Possible names I am looking for:
-Katherine Stevens b 1676
-Anne or Hannah Heard b 1681
I know these two ancestors ended up in Quebec. I am looking for where they were captured.
-
this page says that Katherine Stevens was taken captive at Pemaquid.

end of page references a book, "New England Captives Carried to Canada" by Emma Lewis Coleman

This page says that Hannah Heard escaped the Cochecho Massacre but was taken at York, Maine. sources at the bottom of the page, including the same book mentioned in my first reply.

I don't know if they are correct or not. I only found them by Googling
"candlemas Massacre captives hannah heard" and substituting the massacre names and the two young women's names as I went along.

you can do a limited search of the book here
https://catalog.hathitrust.org/Record/006128274
"Catherine Stevens" returned 2 hits, "Hannah Heard" returned 6.
worldcat.org will tell you where to find the book in a library. and something like abebooks or amazon used books should tell you where you can buy one.

Thank you for your help.
I have been trying to find an free online version of New England Captives Carried to Canada.
I am looking for the lists of captives rather than searching by their names because I am not convinced they were taken where certain accounts mention.
I suspect that Katherine was not actually taken at Pemaquid. It would make more sense that she was taken much closer to home.

Could they have moved? If you click on her father's link it says he died at Pemaquid. But no source. You'd have to research the families yourself to be sure. My wife's family is from New England, including Maine, and there is a lot online, handed down from person to person, but I did her own families myself to be sure.
I don't think you will find a free version of that book, but if you locate it in a library they might do a lookup for you. The Bangor and Portland, Maine, libraries both have a copy, lots more in Maine and Mass. Worst case, the New England Historic and Genealogical Society will do a lookup for you but they charge.
