Title: Who was the Wife of John Hutchinson?

Hi

Can anybody help me with finding the name and marriage details of John Hutchinson's Wife he was born in Clipston in 1653.  They had four children that I know of John born 1682, Elizabeth born 1685, Edward born 1687 and Gertrude born 1698.  Any help would be appreciated

it looks like there was an earlier child

Mary baptised 14.11.1680 to John Hutchison at Plumtree St Marys - abode Clipston

Gertrude appears to have Married John GODFREY   6 Jan 1724/5 St Mary, Plumtree
And a possible for Mary to John DOUBLEDAY 17 Apr 1706 same Church

Many thanks for the additional information regarding John and his family, obviously he was the informant for the birth so the Wife's name is still a mystery, will keep searching.

Often Fathers names only were recorded at that time.

I looked for a Marriage c 1775-1780 with no luck.
Also no obvious Burials noted for ?, Wife of John 1698-1720

The marriage to Alice White in 1671 states John was of Radcliffe on Trent and she was the dau of John White of Carlton.

The other marriage to Phoebe Gibson doesn't state where they were from.

The Phillimore marriage index also has Ann's surname as blank and states they were both of Kirklington.

Where Clipstone is what about looking in South Yorkshire and Derbyshire, both boundaries aren't far.
