Good Evening
I'll keep it simple, Is there anyway that I can trace birth parents online.
I have all the info of foster parents and child's date of birth but have no names prior to adoption of birth mother or child. Hope this makes sense.
-
If you don't know the child's birth name then no - you need that info to trace online
If the child is 18 + - why not ask to see the adoption records?
Are foster/adoptive parents still alive? If so - they should have all relevant info
-
Okay thanks for your message, she dare not ask. We'll figure it out thanks anyway

Does an adopted child's birth certificate give place of birth? Just thinking, if it does then the date and place of birth would narrow the search somewhat.

Hiya
Yea DOB is 07/11/79 place of birth Chester, I am trying everything using filters
-
1063 births in Chester for Nov 1979 - as you know the sex of the child that will reduce it but if adoptive parents changed child's birth christian name ?????
Looking at entries where mothers maiden name is the same as the child's birth surname will narrow it further as there is probably a strong possibility the mother was unmarried
