Elizabeth b.1789
James Wines (or Wynes) b.1820
Caroline b.1821

Could you do me a favour and look for a family in the South Petherton area by the surname of Callow (possibly Caller though) This would be Carolines parents  so they would be aged somewher in their 50's (ish) at the 1851 census. I have a certificate with her maiden name but it is unclear wether it is Callow or Caller.

Do you know their names Christy...none in 50's There is a Robert and Elizabeth next door to James but they are in 70s...Kris

I've checked 41 for you - there are 23 Caller no Callow in South Petherton. Only this couple look old enough to be Caroline's parents.

now in 1841 the older Robert is next door to the younger Robert...and William and Martha are there also a few houses away. Would think they all connect

I have just been looking at your site and can tell you that an Elizabeth Callow was the informant after the death of James Wines on 15 November 1856.
