Just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of the above place. I just don't seem to be able to find it on an OS map.
cheers

Spelled Rothen or Rothin now.
See https://www.geograph.org.uk/gridref/NJ6058 (click on the map to enlarge it and see a veritable cornucopia of Rothins) and
https://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/#zoom=16&lat=57.6157&lon=-2.6633&layers=5&b=1 from which you can see that Rothen covers several farms and crofts, and that it straddles the boundary between Ordiquhill and Boyndie.

Got it, thank you. I also had a place called Headrooms mentioned and it is right next door. :)
Cheers

Yes. Looks as if Headrooms is in the parish of Banff!
