Hello,
I see a short notice in the Globe and Mail newspaper (Nov 3 1950) mentioning an upcoming Lightweight Team Bout.
The lightweight wrestlers will stage another all-star card tonight at the Weston Sea Cadet Hall. Headlining the card will be a team match with the team of Al Orlando and Ed Mangotich tangling with Bill Clubine and Bobby Jordan, of Richmond Hill. Orlando and Mangotich are unbeaten in more than a year.

There are 2 more notices about bouts from 1950, one from 1951 and one from 1953.
There is no personal/family information about him in these notices - but he was wrestling in the Toronto area in the early 1950s under the name Ed Mangotich.

There are several other notices from 1954 where he is called "Killer"
Here is another example

Found notices in the Bury Free Press from late 1954 and 1955 advertising bouts featuring Gori Ed Mangotich from Windsor Ontario, Canadian Champion...
Looks like he went to the UK some time in the middle of 1954. He may have been from Windsor Ontario.

What sort of information are you looking for? Do you want to go backwards and find out where he was born, parents etc...or do you want to go forwards and find out what happened to him after 1960?

Do you know for certain that he is now deceased? We aren't supposed to post the names of living people.

I am assuming he is deceased since wrestlers from back then dont have a long shelf life

Alive in 1970; https://www.wrestlingheritage.co.uk/a-trans-atlantic-villain

It is best to say if you have another thread on the subject, it saves doubleing up.

For those looking, the first time he went to England was in 1954. It doesn't say how long he was going to be staying but it did say his future intended permanent residence was "other parts of the British Empire" so presumably he returned to Canada. His occupation was listed as side gluer. His listed address for the UK was 313 Brixton Rd, London.
His return in 1957 gives his birth date as 11 Dec 1932. This time he listed his occupation as wrestler and he gave the same London address for where he was staying.
The article that YoungTug posted says in one spot that he was from Toronto and in another that he was from Windsor, Ontario. It also says he was a WWII veteran.
