If anyone has a copy of the Kent Poor Law CD I would appreciate a lookup for any mention of a Thomas Couchman/Cushman, possibly from Cranbrook, in the Bastardy records, in the period 1831-1841

Have had a look but sorry no Thomas Couchman for 1831-41 or for Cranbrook.

The only Couchman entries for Cranbrook are:
Ann sw names Sgt Ryan 9 Feb 1800

Removal Orders:
Sarah Couchman sw from Cranbrook to Hawkhurst 1795
Elizabeth Couchman widow from Cranbrook to Hawkhurst 1768
Robert Cushman Barnes and his son Robert from Horsmonden to Cranbrook 1808
