Hi
I put a request on the Lancashire site
William young b 1828 says chepstow monmouthshire
Had a son Richard b 1858 coleford gloucestershire
Looking for his parents please
Regards Phil
-
Have you looked for him on the 1841 census? There are a few possibilities but unless you have his fathers name from his marriage cert it would be impossible to say
-
If you are looking for William's parentage your post should be on the Monmouth board so I will ask the moderator to move it
Family Search have a baptism in 1827 but no parents shown
-
Maybe this one?

Please
Does anyone know who James young married

Maybe this one?
You first need to buy a copy of William's marriage cert to establish whether his fathers name was James.
There is no point wasting time researching this couple if his father was not James
-
Hi

You are jumping the gun and making assumptions that you have the right baptism and parents.
As I said in my reply above

James occ was Shipwright on the baptism

So now you have been given his marriage - you can send for a copy of his marriage cert to see whether his father was James - occ shipwright

The marriage is online. William was a widower (occ Hairdresser). His father was James Young occ Ship Carpenter.
