Hi,
I have a William Bennison born in Hull in 1806 and died in Beverley 1881.
Records show his wife as Francess/Fanny Hebb although there are no records of a marriage.

I would really appreciate it if anyone could tell me detail's of his parent's, ??? particularly the maiden name of his Mother. ??? ???
+++
Many Thanks
Rot.

closeby is Wm Bennison and Fanny Bruce and two children.
These two children are in 1851 census with William and Frances.

Hi Heywood,
Thanks for having a look,
That is my quandary, I have seen the John name before and he was down as a Mariner and born in Hull. I have also seen his wife Rose/Rosa Bennison.
If It could determined what the maiden name of Rose or Rosa was that would be of great help.

Where did you see it?
Have you seen the original record?
You didn’t mention his mother’s first name in the your post.
However, William’s baptism shows father as William as do the other children linked.

Hi Heywood,
I have seen the names on different Ancestry tree's but I was not sure the details were correct as they all seem to copy each other as soon as something new is added. There were no what I would call solid detail's to go by.
No marriage details for John/William to Rose when some state they were married in Hull but there is no record of the marriage?
I did not put the parents name's down just to see if anyone could come up with anything new.
Thanks.

Published trees can be full of mistakes so don’t rely on the information therein unless there is proven documentation.
Secondly, it is not really fair to withhold names to see if anyone comes up with something new.
In this case, it didn’t matter as Rose is with her son in the census and so I came across her by searching for William. However, I then thought I had some useful information for you.
In other circumstances though, people could spend time searching for information you already have which is unnecessary and a waste of their time.

Hi Heywood,
I do apologise for waisting any of your time, it has been so frustrating and I was just trying to get a new lead.
I do appreciate your efforts, rest assured.

It is just something to bear in mind. As I said, it doesn’t matter here but is is disheartening sometimes when someone replies, ‘yes I know that’ ::)
I have looked on Family Search and there are two baptisms for ‘Rose’ in abeverley around the right time - Rose Clark/e and Rose Elliott. Nothing else though :-\
-
1851 shows Henry Bennison living two doors away from William.
Henry’s marriage to Maria Waterworth in 1844 shows his father as John. :-\
It seems as though William and Frances didn’t marry so it is difficult.

Hi Heywood,
The new information gives me something to look at.
Thanks very much for your time and effort.
